Leading the redesign of our internal claims tooling, which will increase the efficiency and empower claims adjusters. This iterative feature work will build trust and solve long-time pain points by giving adjusters clearer access to critical data and more flexible tooling.
Also led the design of key features that improved user experience and retention: collaborated with data science to limit erroneous over billing; reimagined and redesigned the notification UX.
Regularly work closely with product, user research, engineering, CX, data science, legal, actuarial, and senior leadership.
Led design projects to evolve both the external and internal user experience: worked cross-functionally to roll out Metromile's first insurance rating engine that incorporated users' actual driving behavior; designed a new feature with the data science team that recreated car crashes, allowing claims adjusters to more accurately detect fraud and advocate for users.

Built the customer support protocols, processes, and help center from the ground up. Led Lantern's beta, delivering key insights that shaped the app. Started the user research program at Lantern and used findings to shape the roadmap and feature development.
